At Dance World, we aim to stimulate the mind, challenge the body and help you to discover your inner dancer. Our classes are engaging, effective, and designed for both those who seek a career in dance or are looking for the perfect form of exercise. Come dance with us to explore a new world of motion and emotion and get to know yourself in a whole new way.
Dance World is Celebrating its 41st Year!
Dance World is the longest operating dance studio in the Watertown area. The studio is open 6 days a week and has been home to many special area dance groups such as the Northern Ballet Company, Homeschool program, Baton Twirling & Hula dance programs and the Showstoppers Competition Team.
Classes are offered in Tap, Contemporary, Ballet, Jazz, Pointe, Lyrical, Musical Theater, Modern, Tumbling, Hip-Hop, Clogging, and Ballroom for children ages 2 and up as well as adults at the beginning, intermediate and advanced levels.
Toddlers who are 2 years old or almost 2 years old are invited to take our Creative Movement class. This class provides learning opportunities in balance, coordination, rhythm, counting, singing and social skills such as being the leader, taking turns, sharing and having fun with peers.
Our Pre-School program offers all of the same except at a little more advanced level. This level begins to explore the technique of each dance style.
Strictly technique classes are offered for our more advanced dancers including our competition team.
All types of dance are available in private or semi-private classes but time slots are limited. Fees for these half hour or 45 minute sessions are at the discretion of each individual instructor.

Little preparation for you and no mess to clean up!
Dance World can help you with your child's next birthday party be an event they will never forget! We provide all you need for your child's party; cups, plates, napkins, balloons, decorations, party bags, beverages, entertainment, cake and ice cream. We have several themes for you to choose from or for an additional fee you can create a custom theme for your child. We even do all of the clean up for you.
The prices below are for an hour and a half party for 12 children, including the birthday child. We require a 50% deposit 2 weeks prior to the party date.
Parties can be scheduled on Saturdays from 2:30-4:00 p.m.
Dance Party - $110.00
$3.00 for each additional child
$10.00 additional fee for specialized theme
Pizza Option: $25 for 3 large pizzas
Pinata Option: $25 for candy filled pinata with goodie bags
